Stained Glass Taster Day - 10/06/23
Learn how to make your own small stained glass panel using traditional techniques. This workshop will show you the basic skills involved in stained glass, including how to cut glass to a pattern, prepare and cut lead, solder lead joints and finally cement your panel. This is a beginners course held in a learner friendly environment There will be two patterns to pick from on the day: either an abstract rose or cubist design.
Due to the amount of techniques you will learn on this course please can you arrive on time. There will be a lot to learn in one day which might mean we may run over if students are late-
All tools, equipment and glass is provided! Please come wearing practical shoes, no open toed shoes allowed. It is also advised if you are pregnant not to work with lead.

Tea & Coffee Available. During the lunch break you can visit the local farm shop and there are benches outside where you can eat your lunch.
